Commonwealth Auditors General Conference (CAGC)

Since 1951, The Commonwealth Auditors General Conference is conducted once in every three years to discuss matters of mutual professional interest and concern and sharing experience. The Conference will bring together Head of Supreme Audit Institutions from across 53 Commonwealth member countries. SAI Malaysia is also one of the Commonwealth Auditors General Fund Advisory Committee from year 2014 to 2021. In 1975 and 2002, SAI Malaysia hosted the 13th and 18th Commonwealth Auditors – General Conferences respectively. In the 1975 Conference, representatives from 26 countries were present. Whilst in the 2002 Conference, a total of 161 delegates from 37 Commonwealth countries were present. At the 20th conference which was held in Bermuda on July 5 to 9, 2008, the Auditor General had presented a country paper entitled Performance Management of the National Audit Department of Malaysia.
