Working Group in IT Audit

The National Audit Department has become a member of  the 37th IT working group in 2008. The 17th meeting of the working group will be held in Doha, Qatar in 2009.

Subcommittee on Financial Audit Guidelines

The NAD has been a member of this subcommittee in 2004 as a Back Office Expert (BOE. The main tasks of the subcommittee are to review the International Standard of Auditing issued by the INTOSAI Auditing Standard Committee and to make use of existing standards on financial audit.  At present, 3 NAD officers involved in this subcommittee.

Subcommittee of Accounting and Reporting

The NAD is one of the member of this subcommittee which is responsible to prepare accounting standard framework as guides to SAIs to study issues concerning public sector. This committee also coordinates and cooperates with Public Sector Committee especially on matters regarding International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).
