International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) which was founded in 1953 is an organisation for the government audit community. INTOSAI has provided an institutionalised framework for supreme audit institutions to promote developments and transfer of knowledge and experiences, improve government auditing worldwide and enhance professional capacity as well as the integrity of the Supreme Audit Institutions.
