ASOSAI

The Asian Organizations of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) was established in 1979 where Malaysia was among the 11 pioneer countries at the time of its establishment. The main objective of ASOSAI is to establish cooperation, knowledge sharing and capacity building of Audit Institutions among Asian countries. Now ASOSAI's membership has expanded to 47 countries. Malaysia is very committed in attending international conferences and seminars organized by ASOSAI for the purpose of exchanging ideas and experiences in the field of public sector auditing. In addition to participating in the ASOSAI program, SAI Malaysia has played a key role in the development and implementation of ASOSAI's strategic plan with membership on the ASOSAI Governing Board since its inception. Malaysia has been mandated to lead ASOSAI as ASOSAI Chairman for the period 2015 - 2018. SAI Malaysia through the National Audit Academy is involved in organizing ASOSAI programs with the participation of various member countries. In 2018, the National Audit Academy was recognized as an ASOSAI Recognized Training Center. Futher information can be accessed through the ASOSAI website at www.asosai.org.
